Hello and Welcome to BOOM! Banter

Hello? Is anybody out there? Can you hear me? Can you see me? Will you ever find me?

The voice of a brand in today’s crazy world – its like trying to find a needle in a haystack!

With over 1,000 TV stations, 800 radio stations, newspapers, magazines, web pages, outdoor, indoor, at your front door…..OMG brands are trying to get our attention anywhere and everywhere. So, who will survive and who will perish?

Survival is based on the same premise as it always has been – the fittest will survive. How is that defined in today’s world.

The fittest:

  • TRULY unique and relevant reason for being
  • Focused plan – against target and dollars
  • Integrated and consistent – all communication and messaging should look and feel the same
  • BOLD – take the chance, don’t settle for average
  • Go direct – what better way to gain the lifetime loyalty of a consumer than to talk to them one-to-one. Help consumers embrace your brand and see how it fits in their life
  • Commit, Make it Happen and adapt as you move along as consumer response may be different than you expected and some tweaking may be required
  • Evaluate, learn – HARDER, BETTER, FASTER, STRONGER – for next time!

The world is moving faster and faster everyday. Those that survive are the ones most determined to communicate and connect. Your final product can be duplicated, but the creativity to make it can’t be! Share openly, teach often, listen constantly!
