We’re hiring ONE ambitious Account Manager to lead a team of Account Coordinators through the flawless execution of multiple experiential programs.  Our AM will have direct communication with existing clients as well as target prospective new clients.  Our AM will work closely with BOOM!’s internal Creative,  internal Casting and Social Networking Departments as well as external Suppliers, on a national level.  Essentially we want someone “in it” for the long run, who thrives on growing within our tight knit organization.

The expectations are high, but the day-to-day experiences are well worth it.  At BOOM! Marketing we take pride in our people.  We offer various training sessions and employee development programs.  Our AM will be part of many brainstorm sessions where we believe there’s no such thing as a bad idea.  We are meticulous problem solvers and are true visionaries!

With the assistance of a BOOM! Account Director, the chosen candidate (AM) will supervise day-to-day project operations such as building program budgets, expert work back schedules, experience in holistic brand planning, tour management and event recapping for multiple clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Principal to the AC, our AM must possess incredible instructional leadership and guidance skills
•    Must posses excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Must be able to administer and evaluate on-site execution to maximize event success
•    Our chosen AM must recap programs within a specific timeline and send detailed reports to clients
•    Must posses the ability to create strategic documents for client presentations
•    Monitor program progress; recommend adjustments and evaluate programs against objectives
•    Must be able to assess the need for and effectiveness of various forms of advertising media
•    Must be willing to travel

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•    Precise attention to detail
•    Ability to work in a open environment and as a team leader
•    Excellent presentation and inter-personal communication skills, both oral and written
•    Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities
•    Previous knowledge of event operations and management required
•    Previous mobile tour and/or national program management an asset
•    Solid computer skills which must include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•    Conversational French speaking an asset

Essential Requirements

•    Bachelor’s Degree: Communications or Marketing is a desirable though not necessary
•    4+ years of Account Management head office experience within the marketing/advertising/experiential industry is mandatory
