A big congratulations and Mo-felt THANK YOU for making it through another Movember. Truly some Mo-nificient efforts this year. A special thanks to all those who joined ‘Team 6Mo’degrees’ for our best year to date. We surpassed last year’s fundraising by $4,000 and exceeded this year’s goal by $2,000 – our accomplishment currently sits at $12,000 raised for Movember Canada!!!!

What do BOOM!, Pete Bombaci and a 15 foot giant moustache have in common? The ability to change the face of men’s health! Recently, Pete, head of Movember Canada, and Eddie Carolan of SoftSigns, stopped by the office with a GIANT 15 foot moustache to share some Movember spirit.

There are less than 2 weeks left in this glorious month known as Movember, and it has once again been amazing!

It’s that time of year again folks; people walk a little taller, gazes last a little longer, and men’s upper lips are a little warmer. That’s right, Movember, the now annual awareness and fundraising campaign in support of men’s health, in particular prostate cancer. The Mo Bros and Mo Sistas here at BOOM! have all pledged their support and for the next 3 weeks will be embracing the fashion styling’s made famous by such greats as Tom Seleck, Ned Flanders, the Village People, and more!

Last year we were frequently updated throughout the month of MOvember by the one and only, Archie Plathburt, Hydro 5 News. After a long year away from the MOvember scene, Archie is considering a comeback. In honor of his hard hitting reporting last year, we would like to share a few of his videos with you and encourage you to sign up and grow your MO!

When was the last time you saw a walk to end prostate cancer? The sad truth is 4,400 men will die annually from prostate cancer. In a brilliant act of sheer “shavery” - boys will man up to raise awareness and cash for this widespread disease by growing a mustache.

This Movember, men across the globe will come together to grow moustaches for one month to change the face of men’s health.
